As you open the application, the first section is about curriculum in your school’s architecture program. You will submit courses taught at your school that cover relevant Information in the BEEnow Field Topics seen in the box to the right.
Required Information
For each course entry you will be asked to complete six fields in total:
- Course Name
- Simply enough, you will give the name of the course you are submitting for.
- Course Number
- Again, you will submit the number corresponding with the course you are submitting for.
- Course Type
- Through this application, you will pick the course type that most closely resonates with the course you are submitting for:
- Labs
- Lectures/Seminars/Workshops
- Practice-Integrated Courses
- Studios
- Others
- Through this application, you will pick the course type that most closely resonates with the course you are submitting for:
- Field Topics
- You must select a BEEnow field topic that is taught and covered in the course you are submitting for.
- For reference, you will select one topic from the list to the right.
- You must select a BEEnow field topic that is taught and covered in the course you are submitting for.
- Syllabi
- You will enter a publicly viewable and accessible link to the syllabi for the course you are submitting for.
- A OneDrive or Dropbox link is an example of a publicly viewable and accessible link.
- Work Samples
- Similarly, to syllabi, you will submit a publicly viewable and accessible link to at least one example of student work that explores the BEEnow field topic taught in the course you are submitting for. One piece of student work cannot be used for multiple topics.

Important Note!
It is important to note that the same course can be submitted multiple times if it covers multiple field topics. Similarly, if one field topic is covered multiple times in different courses it can be submitted multiple times.
All courses must be taught for AT LEAST one full year.
Sections
Each section has slightly different scoring processes, please read the information below to confidently understand each one:
Lab:
Credit(s) for Labs(s) that incorporate any of the FIELD TOPICS. Each Topic counts for 1 credit in any course. The same topic can earn multiple credits if taught in multiple Labs. A single Lab can achieve more than one credit if it covers more than one FIELD TOPIC.
Lecture/Seminar/Workshop:
One BEEnow Field Topic represented in the Lecture/Seminar/Workshop Course(s) will earn 2 credits. The Course(s) can earn multiple credits depending on the number of BEEnow topics: if the Lecture/Seminar/Workshop covers several topics or multiple Courses cover multiple BEEnow topics.
Studio:
Credit(s) for Studio Course(s) that clearly incorporate any of the FIELD TOPICS. Each topic counts for 2 credits in any Studio. The same topic can earn multiple credits if used in multiple Studio courses. A single Studio can achieve more than one credit if it covers more than one FIELD TOPIC.
Practice Integrated Courses:
Credit(s) for Practice-Integrated Course(s) (engaging active projects, professional consultants and/or clients) that clearly incorporate any of the FIELD TOPICS. Each topic counts for 1 credit in any course. The same topic can earn multiple credits if used in multiple Practice-Integrated courses. A single Practice Integrated Course can achieve more than one credit if it covers more than one FIELD TOPIC.
Other:
Credit(s) for course(s) covering one or more low-energy design strategies in greater depth than required by prescriptive architectural curriculum standards. Either a maximum of one required course and one elective or three elective courses. Required courses count for 12 credits, elective courses count for 6 credits.
